JoAnn is the owner of Natural Resilience, a Licensed Professional Counselor, and a Registered Nurse. She is devoted to meeting each client where they are, striving to consistently provide a setting of understanding, encouragement, and hope. As a practitioner of integrative mental health, her counseling philosophy is one that addresses mind, body and spirit. Her education and clinical experiences have allowed her the opportunity to work with a variety of populations, within a number of practice settings. JoAnn views each person as the true expert in their life. Kayla is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in both Pennsylvania and West Virginia. She received her Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Syracuse University. She utilizes an integrative theoretical, evidenced based approach; including working to meet the client where they are at. She believes that the therapeutic relationship is integral to assuring the client feels valued, safe, and supported. She utilizes humor in her approach and works to maintain awareness of use of self in the room. These factors, along with client motivation, help facilitate change throughout the therapeutic process. Kayla has experience working with families from a Structural and Emotionally Focused perspective. She also works with couples through the interventions used by John Gottman, Ph.D.  She has specific expertise in dealing with the LGBTQIA community, working with the transgender population through gender therapy and making necessary medical and surgical referrals. Kayla has performed research on this population and gained knowledge around their experiences of loss. Kayla encourages all individuals to believe in their inherent worth and ability to belong and connect to one another and the world around them.



Gillian is a licensed independent clinical social worker and member of the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals and the International Obsessive Compulsive Disorder Foundation. She believes that her work as a therapist is to guide people through their healing process. As everyone’s process looks different, Gillian imparts an eclectic technique, combining traditional talk therapy, psychoeducation, dialectical behavioral therapy, as well as others, to provide the best care possible.  Gillian specializes in treatment of eating disorders, but also works with clients suffering from anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, as well as other life problems. Gillian is well-versed on aspects of nutrition and the effects of food on our body and mind, and offers education on this topic to our practice as well.




Anna is a licensed clinical social worker, art therapist and certified ITR trauma therapist. Her therapeutic approach with clients is strength-based and person-centered. Anna’s education and experience with different populations has allowed her to provide individual and group therapy to children, adolescents and adults in various settings such as within schools, hospitals, residential treatment center, in private group practice, and in the community. Her primary clinical focus and passion has been with post-traumatic stress disorder and dissociative disorders. Anna strives to create a safe environment to help the client find deeper awareness and compassion towards their inner self with the aim of empowering her clients to improve their outlook on life and the future.




Brenda is a licensed professional counselor, nationally certified counselor, and certified trauma therapist. Her military service and background paired with education and clinical skills have promoted her experience in working with various populations. She comes with numerous years of experience working with Veterans and their family members. She specializes in a variety of issues that include depression, anxiety, trauma, adjusting to change, stress management, grief and loss, relationship conflicts, codependency, and obsessions and compulsions. She enjoys the diversity of working with people from all walks of life by helping them attain better well-being, growth, and transition. She believes that by being proactive, purposeful, and working through the myriad of life’s ups and downs you have the chance to over-come, grow, and move forward in your life.



Tamara is a Licensed Professional Counselor in West Virginia and Pennsylvania. Tamara earned her Master’s Degree from Ohio University in 2004. Since graduating, her practice has focused on counseling Adults, Adolescents, Children and Families.

Tamara has had a breadth of experience with helping people overcome various hurdles in their lives and to reach their goals for a more fulfilling life. Tamara specializes in the treatment of Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar, Grief, Relationship Concerns, and has extensive experience treating Trauma. She believes each person who comes to therapy is the expert on their own lives. Tamara takes the role of advocate to help clients gain insight into the areas they desire to see change or healing. Partnering with clients through the use of traditional, integrative and creative techniques, Tamara assists people in finding tools to utilize in the change process. She has a warm and caring personality and strives to create an environment of safety in which people can be vulnerable in order exhibit the courage to find healing and lasting change.



Sharon is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social worker. She graduated from West

Virginia University with her Masters in Social Work in 2006. Sharon works with her clients to meet them where they are and support them on their own unique path of self exploration and discovery. She utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to work with each individual. Sharon has had the opportunity to work with individuals struggling with anxiety, PTSD, depression, relationships and grief. Her clients can expect to be heard and encouraged with genuine empathy and faith in improving life experiences. 



Kylynn is a nationally certified counselor and a licensed professional counselor in West Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Maryland. Kylynn graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 2014 with her Clinical Mental Health Counseling degree and has had numerous experiences working with children, adolescents, and adults in various mental health and drug and alcohol treatment settings. Kylynn has also completed training in trauma-focused CBT for children and adolescents. Kylynn uses an integrative approach to support, educate, and motivate clients on their journey of personal growth and development to meet each individual’s goals in a non-judgmental way.  Kylynn believes that every person has the abilities and strengths to improve their lives and increase their overall well-being.  Kylynn strives to support clients in their development and integration of these skills and qualities into their daily lives and achieve their best self.


Gloria is a Licensed Professional Counselor who is passionate about the stories that give meaning to our lives. Her approach to counseling integrates Narrative Therapy, Expressive Arts Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and she is trained in the Matrix Model of addiction intervention. She has worked in inpatient, outpatient, and community mental health settings in multiple locations throughout the United States since 2004. Her clients include children, adults, and families struggling with depression, anxiety, relationships, attention deficit, oppositional defiance, addiction, and issues with cultural and gender identity. Gloria offers tools, insights, and creative inspiration to empower her clients to meet the challenges on the journey of life. She sees her role as a dedicated ally, an authentic witness, and an unfailing believer in each individual’s capacity for healing and growth. 


Thomas is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social worker 10+ years of experience of providing individual, group, and couples therapy. He feels honored to be given the opportunity to help clients confront the issues that they are struggling to overcome. Thomas combines his natural optimism with Cognitive Behavioral and Solution Focused Brief Therapy techniques to work with each person. Throughout his career he has treated a variety of diagnoses that include PTSD, depression, anxiety in clients of all ages from adolescence throughout end of life. He has also been dedicated to treating those suffering from substance use disorders and recently obtained advanced certification in addiction treatment.


Kristen is a Licensed clinical social worker. She graduated from West Virginia University with her Masters in social work in 2014. Her work experience includes family, individual and group services in the outpatient setting.  Her work has focused on helping children, adolescents, and their families overcome life challenges.  She is certified in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral therapy. She also specializes in treatment of anxiety and mood disorders. Kristen believes a strong therapeutic alliance and providing a safe environment allows clients to find strength and empowerment to enhance healthy coping techniques and create lasting change.

Susan is your first point of contact. As office manager she demonstrates the oversight of all aspects of patient care and smooth running of the office. Her responsibilities include but not limited to scheduling, patient communication, checking insurance benefits and taking care of insurance problems, accounts receivable and working with patients to understand their insurance benefits and financial obligation. She is very understanding of patients needs and tries to match them with the best suited therapist.
