JOANN DAVIS FREY, OWNER & CREATOR
JoAnn is the owner of Natural Resilience, a Licensed Professional Counselor, and a Registered Nurse. She is devoted to meeting each client where they are, striving to consistently provide a setting of understanding, encouragement, and hope. As a practitioner of integrative mental health, her counseling philosophy is one that addresses mind, body and spirit. Her education and clinical experiences have allowed her the opportunity to work with a variety of populations, within a number of practice settings. JoAnn views each person as the true expert in their life. She focuses on the inherent strengths and abilities of the individual as a means to help them identify solutions and achieve desired outcomes. Her collaborative approach works toward a greater understanding of self, overall wellness and progression toward a more satisfying life.


ANNA HRAFNSDOTTIR, M.Sc, MSW, LICSW, CTT
Anna is a licensed independent clinical social worker and certified trauma therapist(ITR, EMDR). Her therapeutic approach with clients is strength-based and person-centered.
Anna has considerable experience providing individual and group therapy to all ages in various setting such as within hospitals, residential clinics and in private practice. Anna specialized in treatment of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), but also works with clients suffering from dissociative identity disorder (DID), anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), as well as other life problems.
Anna strives to create an environment to help find deeper awareness and compassion towards their inner self, with the aim of empowering her clients to improve their outlook on life and the future.

TAMARA MILLER, M.Ed, LCSW
Tamara is a Licensed Professional Counselor in West Virginia and Pennsylvania. Tamara earned her Master’s Degree from Ohio University in 2004. Since graduating, her practice has focused on counseling Adults, Adolescents, Children and Families.
Tamara has had a breadth of experience with helping people overcome various hurdles in their lives and to reach their goals for a more fulfilling life. Tamara specializes in the treatment of Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar, Grief, Relationship Concerns, and has extensive experience treating Trauma. She believes each person who comes to therapy is the expert on their own lives. Tamara takes the role of advocate to help clients gain insight into the areas they desire to see change or healing. Partnering with clients through the use of traditional, integrative and creative techniques, Tamara assists people in finding tools to utilize in the change process. She has a warm and caring personality and strives to create an environment of safety in which people can be vulnerable in order exhibit the courage to find healing and lasting change.

SHARON LEWIS, LCSW
Sharon is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social worker. She graduated from West Virginia University with her Masters in Social Work in 2006. Sharon works with her clients to meet them where they are and support them on their own unique path of self exploration and discovery. She utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to work with each individual. Sharon has had the opportunity to work with individuals struggling with anxiety, PTSD, depression, relationships and grief. Her clients can expect to be heard and encouraged with genuine empathy and faith in improving life experiences.

KYLYNN WILLIAMS, MA, NCC, LPC
Kylynn is a nationally certified counselor and a licensed professional counselor in West Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Maryland. Kylynn graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 2014 with her Clinical Mental Health Counseling degree and has had numerous experiences working with children, adolescents, and adults in various mental health and drug and alcohol treatment settings. Kylynn has also completed training in trauma-focused CBT for children and adolescents. Kylynn uses an integrative approach to support, educate, and motivate clients on their journey of personal growth and development to meet each individual’s goals in a non-judgmental way. Kylynn believes that every person has the abilities and strengths to improve their lives and increase their overall well-being. Kylynn strives to support clients in their development and integration of these skills and qualities into their daily lives and achieve their best self.

GLORIA MAHIN, LPC, ALPS, REAT, AADC, NCC
Gloria is a Licensed Professional Counselor who is passionate about the stories that give meaning to our lives. Her approach to counseling integrates Narrative Therapy, Expressive Arts Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and she is trained in the Matrix Model of addiction intervention. She has worked in inpatient, outpatient, and community mental health settings in multiple locations throughout the United States since 2004. Her clients include children, adults, and families struggling with depression, anxiety, relationships, attention deficit, oppositional defiance, addiction, and issues with cultural and gender identity. Gloria offers tools, insights, and creative inspiration to empower her clients to meet the challenges on the journey of life. She sees her role as a dedicated ally, an authentic witness, and an unfailing believer in each individual’s capacity for healing and growth.

MELISSA GARCIA WEBB, MSW, LICSW
Melissa is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, licensed in the state of West Virginia. She completed her Master's Degree in Social Work at West Virginia University in 2015. Melissa has since spent her career working with adolescents, adults from all walks of life and their families.
Melissa utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused, Client Centered, Trauma Focused CBT and mindfulness approaches to help clients achieve balance, fulfillment and relief. She believes in the inherent strengths of others and encourages clients to connect to their own unique strengths. Melissa also believes that trust and compassion are the foundation for the therapeutic relationship and she strives to create a safe and supportive environment.
Melissa is particularly experienced in treating trauma, depression, anxiety, life stress, life transitions and self-esteem in adolescents and adults.

CHRISTOPHER LOPEZ, MSW, LICSW, C-DBT
Christopher Lopez is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker who believes in honoring and validating the inherent wisdom each individual carries along with them as they embark on a journey toward healing.
Chris’ experience spans a wide range of practice settings, while providing psychotherapy to individuals, families and groups. Areas of focus surround, but are not limited to, depression, anxiety, life/relationship transitions, trauma recovery, personality disorders, addictions, and LGBTQIA2s+ issues.
Chris pulls from a variety of evidence based treatment modalities such as Mindfulness, Brief Psychodynamic, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Hypnotherapy to help guide assessment and treatment. There is no “one-size-fits-all” approach to treatment, so Chris will collaborate and meet you where you are at to determine what the “best fit”, and course of action is to assist you on accomplishing your goals.
They are a certified Dialectical Behavior Therapist, and are currently undergoing certification in Heart Centered Hypnotherapy. Chris offers both in person and tele-therapy sessions.

BETH CICHOSKI, MSW, LICSW, CHT
Beth Cichoski is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience in the behavioral health field. She completed a Master’s of Social Work degree from Columbia University in 2000 and since then has had the privilege of working with children, adolescents, and adults in residential, hospital, private practice and community mental health settings. She is experienced in individual, group, family and couples psychotherapy with a wide range of focus areas including depression/anxiety, trauma, life transitions, relationship struggles and addiction. She has provided field instruction to BSW and MSW students; clinical supervision to newly licensed therapists; professional education, training and consultations in both educational and clinical settings.
Beth uses evidence-based treatment such as hypnotherapy, brief psychodynamic therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) skills training. Beth is a Certified Heart-Centered Hypnotherapist. No single approach is right for every individual; Beth will collaborate with you to find the most appropriate path to help you achieve your goals. Beth offers both in-person and tele-health sessions.

ELIZABETH TOMASIK, MA, LPC, NCC
Elizabeth (Liz) is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of West Virginia, and is a nationally certified counselor. Liz earned her Master’s Degree in clinical mental health counseling from West Virginia University in May 2020. Since graduating, her practice has focused on counseling children, adolescents, families, along with young adults. She works with her clients to meet them where they are, as she facilitates the enrichment of self-exploration and discovery by tapping into one’s own strengths. Liz has completed trainings in Trauma-Focused CBT for children and adolescents, as well as Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) for children ages 3-7. She has had the opportunity to work with diverse individuals struggling with anxiety, trauma, disruptive/impulse-control and conduct difficulties, grief, and depression. Her clients can expect to truly feel seen and heard with her, as a dedicated ally believing in each individual’s capacity for growth and healing.

COURTNEY B. DRAKE, MA, NCC, LPC
Courtney is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of West Virginia, as well as Nationally Certified. She graduated with her Master of Arts degree in Counseling from West Virginia University in 2016. Her experience is in working with children, adolescents, and young adults in various settings such as community mental health, residential treatment, and public education. She specializes in a variety of issues that include depression, anxiety, trauma, adjustment related disorders, relationship issues, as well as attention/focus. She believes in meeting the client where they are and working collaboratively with them to establish goals. Courtney draws from multiple methods to create an individualized approach for each client, and offers a warm and open space for all.

SUSAN MCCOURT, OFFICE MANAGER
Susan is your first point of contact. As office manager she demonstrates the oversight of all aspects of patient care and smooth running of the office. Her responsibilities include but not limited to scheduling, patient communication, checking insurance benefits and taking care of insurance problems, accounts receivable and working with patients to understand their insurance benefits and financial obligation. She is very understanding of patients needs and tries to match them with the best suited therapist.
